QH Textiles is a family owned and run business.
Hitomi fell in love with Australia and decided to move to Sydney permanently with her daughter Mio in 1988. When Hitomi first came to Australia she could not find any quality Japanese fabrics and she strongly felt that she needed to bring them here so that Australians could see and experience their quality and beauty.
Hitomi has taught quilting, contributed to a number of magazine projects as well as producing her own fabrics and bag patterns.
She was also the first person to approach and introduce one of the world’s best haberdashery companies, CLOVER to the Australian market.
We are very lucky to have hard working and wonderful sales people and office staff.
We hope to continue to contribute high quality and unique products to the Quilt and Craft industries for many more years to come.
