QH Textiles is managed by a mother & daughter team.
Hitomi fell in love with Australia and decided to move to Sydney permanently with her daughter Mio in 1988.
Hitomi has been teaching quilting, contributing to a number of magazine projects as well as producing her own fabrics and bag patterns.
Mio is also following in her mother's footsteps and designs her own bag handles and purse frames as well as contributing to fabric designs.

When Hitomi first came to Australia she could not find any quality Japanese fabrics and she strongly felt that she needed to bring them here so that Australians could see and experience their quality and beauty.
She was also the first person to approach and introduce one of the world's best haberdashery companies, CLOVER to the Australian market.

We are very lucky to have hard working and wonderful sales people and office staff.
